Preparation method
  • Whip the cream according to packet instructions and refrigerate.
  • Preheat the oven on 180 degrees.
  • Mix the semolina with butter.
  • Add sugar, yogurt, baking powder and coconut and mix well with your hands.
  • Brush oven tray with butter and pour the basbousa batter inside evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
  • Heat the sugar syrup in the microwave and drizzle over the baked basbousa.
  • Cut into squares and top with Dream Whip.
  • Garnish with pistachio and serve.
