Preparation method
  • Preheat the oven to 210°C.
  • Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Make the pizza dough. Combine 200ml of warm water, yeast, salt and sugar in a jug. Stir with a fork. Cover and stand for 5 minutes or until bubbles appear on surface. Sift flour into a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and oil and mix to form a soft dough.
  • Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
  • Knead for 5 minutes or until elastic.
  • Place in a large oil bowl, cover with a clean tea towel and set aside in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in volume.
  • Punch the dough down, then turn it out on to a lightly floured board and knead briefly.
  • Cut into quarters.
  • Roll each piece out to an 18 cm. (diameter) round.
  • Brush edges with water.
  • Spread one tablespoon of pizza sauce over each round.
  • Combine remaining filling mixture in a bowl and spread evenly over half of each round.
  • Fold over dough.
  • Crimp edges to seal.
  • Place on prepared trays.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Swap trays.
  • Bake for a further 10 minutes or until pastry is golden and serve.

  • 8g sachet dried yeast
  • 1 green capsicum, diced
  • 1 cup of diced pineapple
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 200g beef pastrami, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2½ cups of plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 can of Kraft Cheddar Cheese, 1x160g
  • 1/3 cup of pizza sauce
