One Pot Chicken Pesto Pasta

Ingredients: 80 g Kraft Cheddar Cheese Cans (1 cup), shredded; 400 g penne pasta; 3 cups shredded deli chicken; ⅓ cup pesto; 2 cups cooking cream; 2 cups chicken stock or water; salt and pepper to taste; ½ tsp nutmeg; 1 tsp garlic powder; ¼ cup sliced onions; 1 cup sliced button mushrooms; 2 tbsp vegetable oil

A single pot overflowing with flavor, where yummy pasta, tender chicken and rich cheddar cheese come to meet. All the flavor, with just a fraction of the cleaning!

Instructions

- In a big pot over high heat add the oil , sauté the onions and mushrooms for 2 minutes.
- Add the pesto and cream and stock.
- Season and bring it to a boil.
- Add the chicken and pasta and cove.
- Let it cook for 10-15 minutes and stir occasionally.
- Add the cheese, cover and cook for another 3 minutes for the cheese to melt.
- Mix and serve.
- Garnish with toasted pine nuts.
