Preparation method
  • Combine the Royal Crème Caramel powder, milk and chopped dates in a heavy-based saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for one minute, stirring constantly.
  • Coat the sides and base of 4 small moulds with the date dibs.
  • Pour the hot caramel date mixture into the moulds. Cool to room temperature and then refrigerate until set.
  • Beat together the Dream Whip powder, ½ cup milk, vanilla essence and cinnamon until thick and creamy.
  • Turn out the date Crème Caramels and serve with the cinnamon Dream Whip topping.

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 sachet of Dream Whip powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 sachet of Royal Crème Caramel powder
  • ½ cup of pitted dates, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons date dibs
