Preparation method
  • Lay the wonton wrappers on a baking sheet.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a saucepan and add the onion and garlic.
  • Fry, stirring continuously, until the onion is soft.
  • Add the baby spinach leaves and cook until wilted (± 2 minutes). 
  • Allow to cool.
  • Stir in the KRAFT Cheddar Cheese Spread.
  • Heat oil to medium-high heat in a large saucepan or deep fryer.
  • Spoon a small amount of the spinach mixture onto the middle of the wonton wrappers.
  • Brush the sides of the wonton wrappers with a little water and fold the sides up, pressing to seal the sides together.
  • Working in batches, place just enough wontons in the deep frying oil so that there is room around them and they do not overlap.
  • Fry for 2 – 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer them onto absorbent paper. 
  • Drain well and serve immediately.
